The World is Not Enough Ultimate Edition DVD

  • The title for the movie comes from the 1969 movie On Her Majesty's Secret Service. When Bond is in the office of Sir Hillary Bray, he is informed that the translation of his family motto is "The World Is Not Enough".

  • There is a painting of Bernard Lee (M) in the back of the Scottish MI6 Headquarters.

  • Desmond Llewelyn had been asking for Q to have an assistant since 1981 when he was 69. He finally got one in The World Is Not Enough, which was released in the USA exactly a month before his death.

  • Elektra's name was actually mentioned once before, but in a different context. In For Your Eyes Only, Melina Havelock says, "Like Elektra, Greek women always avenge their loved ones." This rings true in The World Is Not Enough.

  • The Jacket which R tried on and tested was completely different from the one at the Ski Scene where the Terahawkes attacked both Bond and Elektra.

  • If you pay attention closely to the torpedo launchers on Bond's black speedboat in the boat chase scene after the MI6 attack, he fires the same torpedo twice. This is something that the directors must have overlooked before releasing the film.
