[Dr. No Characters]

James Bond

Sylvia Trench

Played by: Eunice Gayson

Description: Bond's first on-screen conquest, Sylvia Trench is a high-class woman who enjoys casinos, golf and Bond. After meeting each other at Le Cercle Les Ambassadeurs, Bond found Sylvia scantily dressed, waiting for him in his apartment.

Miss Moneypenny

Played by: Lois Maxwell

[Dr. No Characters]

Major Boothroyd

Description: The original Q, Peter Burton comes into M's office to give Bond his new Walther PPK. With only a few lines, Burton is an often forgotten part of the Bond series.
[Dr. No Characters]

Felix Leiter

Description: Straight off the set of Hawaii Five-0, Jack Lord is the first actor to play Bond's ally in the CIA. Bond and Felix seem to get along immediately, hinting at decades of friendship to follow. They are together in Puss-Feller's bar, in Quarrel's boat and when Felix "rescues" Bond and Honey at the end of the film.
[Dr. No Characters]

Played by: Marguerite LeWars

Description: Although she claims to work as a freelance photographer for the Daily Gleaner, she has actually hired her to take pictures of Bond. After failing to get a photo of him at the airport, Freelance follows him to Puss-Feller's bar where she would rather have her arm broken than reveal that she's working for Dr. No.
[Dr. No Characters]

Mr. Jones

Played by: Reginald Carter

Description: Mr. Jones claims to be a driver sent from Government House. After "taking Bond for a ride," the two men get into a fistfight that ends with Mr. Jones killing himself with a cyanide cigarette to avoid telling Bond he works for Dr. No.

[Dr. No Characters]

Miss Taro

Honey Ryder

Played by: Ursula Andress

Description: A regular visitor to Crab Key, Honey helps Bond get around the island after their first memorable meeting. After Dr. No decides to eliminate Bond, he ties Honey to a room of rising water where, had she not been rescued by Bond, she would have died.
