Quantum of Solace World Premiere Invitation
Quantum of Solace World Premiere Invitation - by Montini
A new James Bond movie can only mean one thing: a star-studded premiere at the Odeon Leicester Square theater in London. This time, the Quantum of Solace world premiere, which took place on October 29, 2008, also doubled as a fundraiser for the Help for Heroes and the Royal British Legion organizations.

Fans lined up outside the red carpet hours before the premier to catch a glimpse of the invited celebrities that including Daniel Craig and his partner Satsuki Mitchell, Olga Kurylenko, Gemma Arterton, Giancarlo Giannini, Judi Dench and Mathieu Amalric, as well as Bond filmmakers, director Marc Forster and producer Barbara Broccoli.. Also in attendance were Elle McPhearson, Samantha Bond, Katherine Jenkins, Robbie Coltrane, Rick Yune, Karen Elson, Meredith Ostrom, Paul Simon and Peter Gabriel.

The two most publicized celebrities, Prince William and Prince Harry, arrived last, and were quickly taken to the red carpet to meet 200 invited servicemen, veterans and their families as a part of the fundraiser. Shortly after, they entered the Odeon theater

where the cast and crew of Quantum of Solace were lined up for a private meeting with the Princes. While going down the line, Daniel Craig removed his sling to properly shake their hands and Mathieu Amalric joked that he hoped they didn’t notice that he had forgotten his belt in the hotel room.

According to the Times Online, the brothers were especially fond of the Bond Girls. Olga Kurylenko flexed for them and commented how she "got muscly" for the movie while Gemma Arterton said afterwards, "I had a nice chat. They are lovely guys, really charismatic and polite. We had a giggle."

After the Princes finished meeting the cast and crew, the event continued with an opening performance by Jack White, lead singer of The White Stripes and co-writer of the Quantum of Solace theme song, Another Way to Die. Then, after the movie concluded, attendees moved on to Battersea Power Station and a one million pound, no expenses spared, after party.
