After months of anticipation and a weekend of 10 second clips, the Quantum of Solace teaser trailer was released on the Internet on June 30, 2008 and attached to the movie Hancock on July 2, 2008. The teaser, which clocks in at a hefty 1:55 in running length, has been very well received by both Bond fans as well as the general public. In fact, the trailer was so popular during its first day if Internet release, that many would-be viewers were unable to download the HD versions and even found that the streaming videos from AOL and the official site were lagging and choppy
Below are just some of the comments from the nearly 4,000 people who dugg the trailer at digg.com.
Now this is BOND!

I'm not going to lie. I think that trailer got me a little hot and bothered
--notdatagain
Now that looked great. The world needed a "rough around the edges" Bond. I hope the movie fulfills the tease.

Love that it has Olga Kurylenko is in it. She was super hot in Hitman and I think she will make a good bond girl. This looks to be awesome, I think this dark and brooding Bond is pretty good. Nice and vicious.

The image of Bond walking over the hill in the suit armed with a silenced UMP just looks so badass, I cannot wait.
--bumblefoot
I have mixed emotions, it looks like an awesome movie but more like Bourne than Bond. I just hope the franchise doesn't get too serious, a big appeal with the older movies were the sexual jokes and the over the top characters. Regardless I will remain a devoted fan of the series!

This HD embeddable [from traileraddict.com] already has 45K views (and counting!) after two hours. People love bond.

I never thought James Bond could get me to nerdgasm...

Daniel Craig is a f**king pimp.
--Striff
F**k yeah! I am so excited about this movie!

Easily the best bond. cant wait! Casino Royal was the first bond movie that was actually good and taken seriously. Cant wait for this one. Daniel Craig is amazing.

Looks amazing, but there seems to be a trend here... Bond is an agent for the Secret Intelligence Service, but this seems like another "lone wolf" mission where the entire time he is being chased by the good guys and bad guys, but in the end it turns out he was right all along. See also: Mission Impossible 3. It's the whole, "trust me when this is over you'll realize I was right, and you were foolish to doubt me" complex. Can't Bond just accept a mission and do it???

They need to make a scene where Bond fights Jason Bourne. And Batman.
--lazyfisherman
I think the new style in these bond films is a nice change. The crisp over exposed look to some of the scenes is very cool. (when he is walking over towards camera with the gun a the end) Very modern.

This is such a sweet trailer.

That was sick, i have always enjoyed bond films but never really got fired up for them. But that trailer really got me into that movie.
--oldlostcory
Looks great, but I reckon that the shot of him with a UMP walking over the rise would be better from his back than from the front.
